***Pool Tag Distribution***
 
A representative from Kingwood Association Management will be at the pool community room to distribute pool wristbands to those who have sent in their forms on the following dates/times:
 
Saturday, May 18th
10a-4p
 
Sunday, May 19th
1p-5p
 
If you can’t come to the pool community room, always feel free to stop by the KAM office to pick up your pool tags.

Foster Elementary will be rebuilt during the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. The new campus will be built to the standard of today’s schools, with larger classrooms, technology and security features. The new building will have a capacity for 800 students and is expected to open for the 2026-2027 school year.  While the campus is being rebuilt, Foster students and staff will need to be at another location. Foster currently sits on a 9.7 acre tract of land, which is not enough space to safely hold school while an active construction site is underway on the existing property.

Attached below is a link to the initial presentation given by COH on Sept. 26, 2023 at our monthly TVCA meeting. This presentation was given as a courtesy by the COH to acquire input from Trailwood Village Community Association members. The next steps are to determine which option will be the most beneficial to Trailwood residents both short term and long-term, keeping in mind homes have flooded repeatedly in the modeled area.  Preservation or status quo of the existing conditions, both from a drainage standpoint and vegetation standpoint will not improve in the modeled area over the long-term. The TVCA Board of Directors will make a decision on how the project will move forward at the next TVCA board meeting on October 24, 2023. Attendance at all meetings is encouraged in order to gain a better understanding for all interested parties.

 

This year, 2023, Trailwood will be having (2), YES, you read that right, 2 garage sales.  For the first time in a very long time, if ever, Trailwood will have a SPRING garage sale on the last Saturday in April, April 29, 2023 from 7AM to 2PM.  In addition, in the FALL, Trailwood will have its traditional garage sale, always the last Saturday in October - 7AM to 2PM.  This year it is on October 28, 2023.  It is suggested to put a balloon on your mailbox so those interested can see from a distance who is participating.  Please be respectful to homeowners while on their properties and do not block driveways. HAPPY HUNTING!

With drought conditions upon us, we have taken initial steps and will need assistance!

 

 

The TVCA BOD is requesting volunteers to fill current open board positions.  Have you enjoyed all the new updates to the community?  Attended a community event over the last year? Walked on the greenbelt? Had some fun family time at the pool? Have some great ideas or improvements you would like to present or implement?  All of these have and can occur in part because of current Trailwood residents stepping up and wanting to make their neighborhood a better place for all of us.  If you live in Sections 1, 2, 4 or 6, we have open positions right now!  Board Elections will be in November this year to fill any additional vacancies in Sections 2, 3, 4 & 6.  Contact someone on the board, post a message here or private message or come to a meeting.  Don't know what section you live in?  Check out this map on the website...give it some time, its a big file OR take a look at your HCAD statement, its listed right there under your address.
